Homestay accommodation in a New Zealand home is always comfortable, with friendly hosts who are happy to introduce you to friends and other locals.

Homestays are excellent choice if it’s your first visit to New Zealand and you want a little of the comforts of home, with the added benefits of hosts to help with information on what to see and how to get around.

You share all domestic facilities with the family, including the bathroom/s, and you eat meal together too, often including dinner. Homestay hosts are naturally genial characters and your stay with them will be enjoyably social.

For international students, living with a local family in homestay accommodation is a good way to settle into a new country. Your host family will support you and make sure you’re comfortable and it’s also a great way to experience the New Zealand lifestyle.

Dtours accommodation personally meet and visit the families in their homes and carefully select homes for our international students.

All homestay families are committed to your care and safety. We also use an approved homestay agency, to have their final approval, ensure police checks of host families.

To apply for a homestay, please complete the Homestay Application Form included with your offer of Place.

Homestay Services ensures that:

• You are met at the airport, take you to gat a sim card for your cell phone, exchange your money to NZ currency and take you directly to your homestay. 
• You are well cared for.
• There are follow up meetings to make sure you and your host family are compatible and happy.
• You have your own fully furnished room and fresh linen.
• Laundry facilities will be available for you to use.
• Breakfast and Dinner is provided every day together with lucnch on Saturdays and Sundays.
